I started MW Drafting & Design with one clear mission: to raise the standard of construction drawings used for building permit applications in Ontario. As a former municipal plans examiner and municipal building inspector, I’ve learned that a strong foundation in the Ontario Building Code is the key to getting projects approved as efficiently as possible.
In January 2020, I made the decision commit full-time to my then side business, MW Drafting & Design. As a certified Architectural Technologist and BCIN Designer, operating my own drafting & design firm allows me to apply my deep building code knowledge and experience from the very start of each project, ensuring successful project outcomes from the ground up.

All of our construction documents are stamped with our distinct BCIN (Building Code Identification Number), and include a declaration stating that we are taking responsibility for our design.
